The Arts District has transformed into one of the city’s premier destinations. The Arts District is home to shops, galleries, restaurants and the very popular Brewery Row. We have two new residential midrise projects that are ready for new residents. Gemma, a three-building complex on Third Street south of Charleston Boulevard, adds 337 units built by Southern Land companies. Cedar Street has opened the Myles at Imperial Avenue and Commerce Street, adding 311 units. A third new apartment development at Charleston and Third Street from Alliant is working on entitlements for 560 units.
Symphony Park
Symphony Park is the city's cultural hub, featuring The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and plans for a new Las Vegas Museum of Art. Naturally, Symphony Park has become a neighborhood where people want to live.
Symphony Park is home to new and existing residential projects. Southern Land's new 22-story apartment tower, Capella, will open this summer with 272 units. It’s midrise sister property, Bria, will have 275 units, as well as 14,000 square feet of retail space.
At the north end of Symphony Park, Patrick Brennan’s Cello Tower and Origin development is set to begin construction this summer. Cello is a 32-story tower, which will be part of a shopping, retail, office and dining district with midrise residential units and offices. In total, these projects will bring 390 additional residential units downtown and we hope it will be the home to a much-needed downtown grocery store.
Distrito de entretenimiento Fremont East
The Fremont East Entertainment District is a multi-block entertainment area marked by retro-looking neon signs, dozens of bars, dining and retail venues and the historic El Cortez hotel-casino. This pedestrian-friendly area has become a downtown hotspot in recent years and is a place to experience the vintage Vegas vibes. Just to the west of the district is the world-famous Fremont Street Experience, featuring the world's largest LED screen. This pedestrian mall offers direct access to downtown hotel-casinos and is home to concerts and events throughout the year.
